Prepare the Royal Highway

Jay Beech's upbeat arrangement of this wonderful Advent hymn mixes some fun poly-rhythms with a familiar text and tune. A two part vocal arrangement makes it possible for this to be presented as a simple anthem with the harmony part sung by altos and/or tenors. It is equally suitable as accompaniment for congregational singing or even as an alternate harmonization. A nice counter-melody for solo instrument completes the score.
