Two healing stories — the woman with the flow of blood and the
daughter of Jairus, a leader of the synagogue — appear together in
all three of the synoptic gospels. The desperation they both feel mirrors our
own feelings of helplessness in the face the deadly disease we all share
— sin. Likewise, their unwavering faith in Jesus is a witness to us still
today. Indeed, we are all healed with just one touch from the master's hand.
This slow, funky ballad is emotionally very powerful and features two solos:
The first is in the voice of the woman from the story above, and the second
is sung by a man as Jairus.
