In Isaiah 25, the prophet tells of the day when all people will sit down to a great
feast on the mountain of the Lord, death will have been destroyed forever,
and God will wipe every tear from our eyes. This beautiful text has been set
by Jay in a powerful SATB anthem. The reading comes up multiple times in the
Revised Common Lectionary, but also would be a wonderful selection for funerals.
It could easily be performed by a soloist singing the melody.
